On January 1st, 2007 Great Lakes Golf Course Products officially changed the company name to Prestwick Golf Group.

When our company began over 10 years ago, our previous company name, Great Lakes Golf Course Products, was a well suited name reflecting the primary region of our business. Today, we’ve had the privilege to work with golf courses in 25 countries throughout the world and we wanted a name with more global appeal and one that respects the history and tradition of the game. To better represent the fine characteristics of our offerings and our global appeal, Prestwick Golf Group became
the natural choice," said Morse.

The Prestwick Golf Group (formerly Great Lakes Golf Course Products) announced it has begun the process of moving into its new headquarters and manufacturing facility. The new building is located at 1880 Executive Drive in Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Prestwick Golf Group’s new facility features 60,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space. Manufacturing operations are already underway in Oconomowoc, with administrative offices scheduled to move into the new facility by March 1, 2007.

Prestwick President Matt Morse said that the move became necessary in response to the company’s substantial increases in sales and production over the past three years.

“Our growth has been incredible and, as a result, we simply need more breathing room to operate more efficiently. With our new and bigger building, we are able to better serve our golf industry customers,” said Morse.
